Where exactly does Comment Crafter run?
It’s a Chrome extension that runs inside your browser, on linkedin.com pages. It only activates when you click the Comment Crafter button beside a LinkedIn comment box. It never posts on its own and never reads anything outside LinkedIn.
How does the 7-day free trial work?
You install the extension, sign in, and the trial starts immediately. During the trial, you can generate one AI comment per day for 7 days. No credit card is required to start. After 7 days, generation pauses unless you upgrade to the monthly subscription.
What happens after the trial ends?
The extension keeps the same UI, but the “Generate” action will prompt you to upgrade. You can subscribe at that moment and your account unlocks instantly. If you don’t subscribe, nothing happens to your account, you simply can’t generate new comments.
How is access enforced?
Access is checked against our backend on every generation. Subscription status, trial day, and remaining trial allowance are all determined server-side, so the entitlement is consistent across browsers and devices when you sign in.
How do I cancel?
You can cancel from your account or by emailing support. Cancellation stops future renewals; you keep access for the rest of your current billing period. There’s no fine print or cancellation fee.
Do you read or store my LinkedIn data?
The extension only sends the post text you’re replying to (and the tone you picked) when you click “Generate.” That request goes to our backend, which calls an AI model and returns the draft. We don’t store the post text long-term, and we don’t scrape your feed or your messages. See our privacy policy for the full breakdown.
Will it sound like me?
Each tone is a different prompt with different structure, length, and posture. They’re tuned to sound like considered humans — not bots, not LinkedIn-influencer slop. The output is always editable, and most of our users tweak a word or two before posting.
Which browsers are supported?
Currently Chrome (and Chromium-based browsers like Edge, Brave, Arc that accept Chrome Web Store extensions). Firefox and Safari are not supported yet.
