When reporting an issue, it helps to include: your browser and version, the Comment Crafter extension version (visible in the extension popup), and a short description of what you were doing when the problem happened. Screenshots help.

Frequently asked questions

How does the 7-day free trial work?

You install the extension, sign in, and the trial begins immediately. During the trial, you can generate one AI comment per day for 7 days. No credit card is required. When the trial ends, generation pauses unless you upgrade.

What happens after I pay?

Your subscription unlocks instantly. The webhook from our payment provider activates your entitlement on the same account, and the next generation you trigger inside the extension will use your paid status. There’s no waiting on a license file or a human handshake.

How do I cancel?

You can cancel from your account or by emailing support. Cancellation stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the period you’ve already paid for. No fee, no friction.

I subscribed but my extension still shows the trial limit. Help?

In almost every case the cause is that the extension is signed in to a different email address than the one used for payment. Sign out of the extension, sign back in with the email you used at checkout, and the entitlement will refresh. If that doesn’t resolve it, email us with the email address used for payment and we’ll fix it manually within one business day.

Comment Crafter button isn’t showing on LinkedIn.

Try the following in order: refresh the LinkedIn tab; confirm the extension is enabled in chrome://extensions; confirm you’re signed in to the extension. If it still doesn’t appear, send us a screenshot of the page and your extension version and we’ll look into it.

The generated comment isn’t great.

Drafts are a starting point. Try a different tone (the difference between Considered and Curious is bigger than it looks), use Regenerate for a fresh attempt, or edit the draft directly in the comment box, that’s how most users actually post. If a tone consistently underperforms for you, please tell us; tone tuning is one of the things we update fastest.

Which browsers are supported?

Comment Crafter currently supports Chrome and most Chromium-based browsers (including Edge, Brave, and Arc) that accept extensions from the Chrome Web Store. Firefox and Safari are not supported yet.

Do you read my LinkedIn data?

No. The extension only sends the post text you’re replying to (and the tone you picked) when you click “Generate.” We don’t scrape your feed, messages, profile, or connections. See the privacy policy for the full breakdown.

Can I delete my account?

Yes. Email support from the address registered to your account and we’ll delete your account and associated data. If you have an active subscription, we’ll cancel it as part of the process.

Status & outages

If you’re seeing repeated generation errors, it’s most often a temporary upstream model issue. Wait a minute and try again. If it persists for more than 15 minutes, please email us so we can investigate. We’ll add a public status page once the user base warrants it.
