Privacy Policy

This policy describes how Aloseis Labs (“we,” “us”) handles personal data on aloseislabs.space and across our products, including Comment Crafter, our Chrome extension for drafting LinkedIn comments. We’ve written it to be readable; if anything is unclear, please email support@aloseislabs.space.

In short. We collect the minimum needed to give you an account, run AI generations you ask for, and bill the subscription. We don’t sell data, run ad trackers, or read your LinkedIn feed. Generation requests are processed by our backend and a third-party AI provider; the post text you ask us to reply to is sent for that single purpose and not retained long-term.

Data we collect

Account data

To use Comment Crafter you create an account. We store:

  • Your email address (used as your sign-in identifier and for service emails)
  • An authentication credential (hashed, never stored in plaintext)
  • Account creation date, sign-in timestamps, and the originating browser/extension version

Subscription & billing data

Payments are processed by our payment provider, which acts as our merchant of record. We do not see or store your full card number, CVV, or bank details. We do receive and store:

  • Subscription status (trial, active, canceled, expired)
  • Plan, billing cycle, and renewal date
  • Provider transaction IDs and the country/region used for tax purposes
  • The masked card brand and last four digits (when supplied by the provider)

Usage data

To enforce trial limits and improve reliability we record:

  • The count of generations per day per account
  • The tone selected for each generation
  • Coarse error metrics (e.g. timeouts, model errors), without the underlying prompt
  • Approximate technical metadata (extension version, browser family, locale)

Content you submit for generation

When you click “Generate” in Comment Crafter, the extension sends the text of the LinkedIn post you’re replying to and the tone you selected to our backend, which forwards it to a third-party AI model to produce a draft. Specifically:

  • We process the post text only for the purpose of returning your draft.
  • We retain the request only briefly for safety, abuse prevention, and debugging, and then discard the content. Retention is measured in days, not indefinite.
  • We do not use your post or draft text to train any model.

Third parties we share data with

  • AI provider — receives the post text and tone for the duration of the request, governed by their own data-handling terms. We pick providers that contractually do not train on API inputs by default.
  • Payment provider — receives the data necessary to process your subscription and issue receipts.
  • Email and infrastructure providers — receive the operational data needed to deliver service emails, host the backend, and operate the site.

We do not sell your data, do not share it for advertising, and do not include third-party advertising trackers on this website.

What we don’t do

  • We don’t read or scrape your LinkedIn feed, messages, connections, or profile.
  • We don’t auto-post on your behalf. The extension only inserts a draft into the comment box you opened.
  • We don’t sell, rent, or trade personal data.
  • We don’t embed third-party advertising or behavioural-tracking pixels.

Cookies & analytics

On this marketing website, we use only the cookies strictly necessary to keep the site running. We do not run any third-party advertising or behavioural-tracking pixels here. If we add privacy-respecting analytics in the future (such as a self-hosted, anonymous traffic counter), we will update this section before turning it on.

The Comment Crafter extension itself uses local browser storage to keep you signed in and to cache UI state. This is not used for tracking.

How long we keep things

  • Account data: for the life of your account, plus the time required to satisfy legal and accounting obligations.
  • Generation request content: a short retention window (measured in days), then deleted.
  • Aggregate usage metrics: retained in non-identifying form to monitor reliability and capacity.
  • Billing records: retained as long as required by tax and accounting law in our jurisdiction.

Your rights

You can, at any time:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate data (e.g. update your email).
  • Delete your account and associated data.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing.
  • Port your data in a structured, machine-readable format.

Email support@aloseislabs.space and we will action requests promptly. Where applicable (e.g. EU/UK GDPR), you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Children

Comment Crafter is not directed at children under 16, and is intended for professional use on LinkedIn (which itself requires users to be at least 16). We don’t knowingly collect personal data from children.

Security

  • All traffic between the extension, the website, and our backend is encrypted in transit (HTTPS / TLS).
  • Authentication credentials are hashed using industry-standard algorithms before storage.
  • Access to production systems is limited to a small number of operators on the strict basis of need.

No service is invulnerable, but we treat your data with the same care we expect for our own.

International transfers

We operate as an independent studio and may use service providers located outside your country (including the United States and the European Economic Area). Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) for international transfers.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we’ll update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, for significant changes that affect your rights, notify you via email or in the extension.
